About Us
Slowside Tattoo Studio is an appointment-only studio in the Chinatown neighbourhood of “Vancouver”, BC.
We can be spotted by our corner windows on Main St and Pender St.
Slowside Tattoo Studio is a cozy space for you to come as you are. We opened in 2024 with the aim to provide a safe and welcoming space for our artists and clients.
Our resident artists are from diverse backgrounds and practice a range of mediums outside of tattooing such as ceramics, animation, fibre arts, and graphic design. Each of our artists has developed their own unique style.
We all share a love for art and tattooing, and have a collective goal of making every tattoo experience fun and comfortable for our clients.
Slowside Tattoo Studio is located on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

We are adjacent to the Downtown Eastside (DTES) neighbourhood, which is one of Vancouver's oldest neighbourhoods, and the historic heart of the city.
The DTES has many assets, especially for its low-income residents, who appreciate feeling accepted and at home, and benefit from living near health and social services.
In recent years, the Downtown Eastside has struggled with many complex challenges including drug use, housing instability, unemployment, and loss of businesses in the community.
